Well, that second thing that got me excited about a game shown at E3? It’s Star Wars the Old Republic of course. Having blown me away with last year’s trailer, Bioware has again gone to the same studio to create this year’s standout trailer. I have to admit though, this trailer actually makes me sad that they’re not making another movie using this studio more than it actually gets me excited about the game the upcoming game.

As always, there are a lot of cool things coming out of the video game conference E3 this year, but as an observer there were only two videos that really got me excited about upcoming games. Due to my affinity for its predecessor, Portal 2 was already in my consciousness but with this new trailer my desire for this game just quadrupled…

Every year on April 12 the world remembers a certain Russian cosmonaut who boldly went where no one had gone before, and while they reminisce on the amazing act of flying into space they party like rock stars at various locations around the world. This April 10, NASA Ames in the bay area will again be hosting a Yuri’s night, which is like a Sci-fi version of burning man, with the likes of the rapper Common, Les Claypool, and the band The Black Keys showing up this year.
