I know that I said that I wouldn’t be as video heavy as in the past, but this trailer for the upcoming RTS Starcraft 2 is just too good to pass up. As many have said before, Blizzard should think about producing films as well as games…

Well, that second thing that got me excited about a game shown at E3? It’s Star Wars the Old Republic of course. Having blown me away with last year’s trailer, Bioware has again gone to the same studio to create this year’s standout trailer. I have to admit though, this trailer actually makes me sad that they’re not making another movie using this studio more than it actually gets me excited about the game the upcoming game.

As always, there are a lot of cool things coming out of the video game conference E3 this year, but as an observer there were only two videos that really got me excited about upcoming games. Due to my affinity for its predecessor, Portal 2 was already in my consciousness but with this new trailer my desire for this game just quadrupled…

I think that I’ve mentioned Top Gear on here before, but just in case I haven’t I wanted to share part of one of the episodes that I just uncovered from 2007. Every season Jeremy, Hammond, and Cpt. Slow embark on a trip somewhere around the world, giving a hilarious tour of whatever beautiful scenery they happen to be in. This one is of their trip to the North Pole. Upon tuning into the Champion’s League final with Inter vs. Bayern, I was surprised to be watching a 3 minute long commercial. I was surprised even more by how awesome it was. Following their first-person perspective commercial a while back, Nike has put together another gem.
